CMS currently has an opening for a full-time Director of Nursing at Howard Young Correctional Institute, Wilmington, DE.
The facility's young adult population participate in a program of work, vocational training or education and take part in treatment programs such as peer tutoring.
Directs the provision of care by professional and para-professional nursing staff within a corrections environment. Interacts with a variety of healthcare professionals, corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the nursing departments and fulfill contractual requirements.

Smyrna, DE - Licensed Practical Nurse
Green Valley Pavilion
Green Valley Pavilion, a 153-bed skilled nursing center located in Smyrna, currently has several full and part-time positions available for experienced and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses. Duties include supervision of CNAs, administering medications, treatments, and insuring that proper clinical and documentation procedures are followed.
Our full-time LPNs are paid day shift rates that are based on experience and range between $20.00 for a new grad to $24.00 per hour for a nurse with five or more years of experience. We also offer differentials for day and evening shift and a comprehensive benefits package.
In June, we are going to be implementing new weekend programs in which nurses will work two twelve hour shifts each weekend and one eight hour weekday shift per week to be eligible for benefits. For weekend hours, nurses will be paid a 25% premium above their base rate. We are also in the process of raising our per diem rates.
Requirements
Must have a valid Delaware or Maryland Practical Nurse license and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug testing. Prior experience in either a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but we welcome new grads. We require excellent clinical and documentation skills. The successful candidates for these positions will be well organized, possess excellent interpersonal skills and be team players.

This position will work in our facility that is currently under construction. This is truly a position that will get you in on the "ground floor".
First we have to acclimate you to who we are and what we do for patients and families. Then we need your help in acting as a liaison with the building contractors. This will be a wonderful opportunity to know the building inside and out.
Once it is built, you will manage maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and dietary. You will be responsible for budgeting, performance, compliance and ensuring that your team provides excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers.
Requirements
HS degree or GED required. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or business preferred. Ten years of facilities management, five of which should be in a healthcare facility.
Prior building/facilities experience in maintenance or HVAC preferred.
This is a position that will manage customers and employees. You will have to demonstrate an ability to interact successfully with all levels in the organization.
Strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office.
Must be able to pass background/drug screen and medical evaluation.
