Job Description: NJ Transit is a Level 2 Merchant subject to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). NJ TRANSIT processes credit card transactions on over 700 ticket vending machines (TVMs) and ticket office machines (TOMs) at stations and terminal throughout the State and via a tickets-by-mail program with subscriptions entered through the corporate website. The Information Security Consultant will work with NJ TRANSIT's IT staff to complete the latest Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and develop NJ TRANSIT's remediation plan. The assessment and remediation plan will need to address all relevant components of the corporate technology environment.
During this engagement, the project manager will:
-- Review the cardholder data environment
-- Determine the relevant components of the network subject to the PCI standards

-- Recommend policies, procedures, and controls to meet the requirements
