Performs diverse clerical duties, including order processing, report filing, patient billing, retrieving lab data, canceling tests, problem solving and collecting drug screens. Acts as a resource to other team members on issues concerning laboratory billing and specimen processing. Communicates with clients and staff in providing test order or collection information, problem solving or referral, and providing test result information per protocol. Aids in maintaining section safety, cleanliness, quality control and general supply inventory levels.
